What Does humBOLD mean?

To us humBOLD represents a unique persona of dog lovers. Those who are humbled by the fact that you have an animal that would do anything for youThose who would gladly return the favor.Those who live with BOLD expression.Those who understand that dogs bring us together and make use better humans.

Why Was humboLD started?

At humBOLD we saw a void in market for our first product, The Pupper Pack. We needed something to hold all of our dogs essentials (food, treats, collar, toy etc.) when we left the house. After we built that we realized that there aren't very many fashion forward brands out there. As humans we all have our own "style" or "swag" and we wanted to translate that into the dog world.

More importantly, we think that dogs should spend as much time with humans as possible. All of our products are created to enable you to do that. In addition, we have partnered with CUDDLY who shares the same values of bringing all dogs to loving humans.

Currently we are solely sold online at humboldbbrand.com. This allows us to maintain exclusivity and avoid retail markup while we grow.

RETURNS & EXCHANGES

What is humBOLD's return policy?

Customer satisfaction is our number one priority. If for any reason you are dissatisfied, we will gladly issue a full refund, exchange, or humBOLD store credit for items returned within 30 days of delivery. All returns and exchanges must go through our Returns Portal to be accepted. All returns must be accompanied by its original packaging and unaltered, unworn, and in resell-able condition to qualify for a refund.

Currently, we only offer free returns on orders made in the USA. If you are in Canada, there will be a shipping/handling fee for the returned item(s)

How do I initiate a return or exchange?

How Long will it take for my exchange order to ship out?

There is a fragile time between when you submit your exchange and when you drop it off at the post office. An item can potentially sell out, so it is crucial to get your exchange to the Post Office as soon as possible to secure the piece you selected!

Once your exchange is dropped off at the Post Office, your package will be marked as in transit and your new order will be created and shipped! If in the event the item you are exchanging for sells out before you have a chance to drop off your package, it will auto convert into a standard return and refund you for the returned pieces.

Do I have to use all of my exchange credit?

If you don’t use the entirety of your exchange value, you will forfeit the rest of your Shop Now Bonus. So add that extra extra pack of poop bags!

How do I return a gift?

If possible, try to get the order number and shipping zip code from the person you received the gift from and go through our Returns Portal: https://humboldbrand.loopreturns.com/#/

HOW MUCH DOES a Return cost?

If you need to return an item within the 30 day return window, no problem. You have a few options; (1) Exchange = Free on us, (2) Store Credit = Free on us, or (3) Refund to you payment method = this incurs a $10 flat rate for shipping & handling.

How long does it take for my refund to process and appear back into my account?

Please allow 3-5 business days from when we receive your return to process your refund/exchange. It will take an additional 7-10 business days to appear back in your account.

Is there a restocking fee?

For product exchanges or store credit we waive all fees, but if you would like a refund, we charge a $10 handling fee

ORDERS & SHIPPING

How do I cancel or change my order?

If you need to change or cancel your order, please contact us immediately via live chat or at help@humboldbrand.com. Unfortunately, once your order has been processed we are unable to make any changes or cancellations.

If I ordered multiple items, will they arrive all at once?

If you order multiple items you may get multiple deliveries. We’ll send you a shipping confirmation email for each shipment, so you’ll know exactly what to expect and when to expect it.

What CarrIERS do WE use?

We are given special rates for UPS, USPS and DHL to help lower shipping costs. *Note: UPS does not deliver to APO, FPO, or PO boxes, so if you select UPS Express Shipping as an option at checkout then you will be given USPS Express Shipping.*

HOW LONG DOES SHIPPING USUALLY TAKE?

After your payment is verified, it may take up to 72 hours to process and ship your order. This does not include weekends or holidays. Purchases made after 2pm PST on weekdays will likely be processed and shipped the following day. Purchases made after 9am PST on a Friday or over the weekend will likely be processed and shipped out the following Monday. Once your order has been processed, please allow about 3-7 business days for domestic shipment to be delivered.

*Note: During holidays and or unpredicted weather events, couriers may be experience unforeseen delays.*

Our carriers deliver Monday through Saturday from 9am until 9pm.
 

DO YOU SHIP INTERNATIONALLY?

Currently we are only sold in USA and Canada.

HOW DO I TRACK MY ORDER?

We will notify you by the contact method on file with all relevant shipping updates and tracking information once your order has been processed. This typically takes 1-3 days, not including weekends or holidays.
 

PAYMENTS

How can I purchase a gift card?

Shopping for someone else but not sure what to give them? Give them the gift of choice with a humBOLD gift card. Gift cards are delivered by email and contain instructions to redeem them at checkout. Our gift cards have no additional processing fees.

Does humBOLD offer discounts or coupons?

humBOLD does offer discounts on rare occasions. Make sure to sign up to our text message program and newsletter to be the first to know about all discounts or promotions (you will also receive a code for signing up). Only one promo/discount code can be applied to each order, no exceptions. During a site-wide sale, all promo/discount codes are invalid until the sale ends. Promo and discount codes cannot be applied to an order after it has been placed.

How do I check out with afterpay?

Simply shop online and add items to your shopping bag and checkout as normal. At checkout choose Installments by Afterpay as your payment method. First time customers will need to register with Afterpay and provide payment details as usual, returning customers simply log in to make their purchase. It’s that easy!

How Does Afterpay work?

All customers are required to make their first payment at the time of purchase, with the remaining three payments deducted automatically every two weeks from your chosen payment method. If you choose to make additional payments before your schedule pay dates, you may do so through your Afterpay account. You can log in to your Afterpay account to view your payment schedule and make a payment before the due date if you choose to do so

Can I return or Exchange a product I purchased using afterpay?

If you have changed your mind, you can return your Afterpay purchase by mail for a refund. Afterpay will be notified of your return and will process the appropriate refunds. Please do not return your purchase to Afterpay.

SIZING, MATERIALS, & CARE

How DO I KNOW MY DOG's SIZE?

Knowing your dogs size might seem simple, but we encourage you to take the time to measure them. We have size charts on all the products pages and a video of how to properly measure your dog here: SIZE CHART - PUPPER PACK

What Materials does humBOLD use?

At humBOLD we use a variety of materials for our various products. Our bags/harnesses are made out of neoprene, our bowls and zippy are made out of silicone, poop bags out of corn starch, and leashes / collars out of a special webbed PVC. More info on each product can be found on their respective product pages.

How Do I care for my Pupper Pack?

Neoprene is mostly chill but still deserves some love and attention. Neoprene can be hand washed in cold water with gentle soap. Reshape when wet. Lay flat to dry.

Alcohol, acetone, and oil are all really bad for neoprene, so avoid at all costs. Don’t machine wash because the hardware might chip. Hardware should also be handled with care.

Don’t overexpose to light, heat, or water and don’t rub the material excessively.

Can I get the bag wet?

Yes, neoprene is what wetsuits are made out of. Your bag is water resistant (not water proof).
